You are wrong...yes, your click will be registered but there will be 0 earning...

ya, i accidentally click on my ads a few times,
and it didn't show up at all,

furthermore, google asked me to not send them an email everytime i clicked on it,
but i did it anyway, better done than sorry,

but if there are any suspicious clicks it would be better to report them.

I think most people's Adsense earnings have fallen in recent years, mine certainly has. I've now removed Adsense from a lot of my sites and have replaced them with affiliate links which have proven to be far more lucrative. I just wish I'd done it earlier.
