While I learned my lesson I'm done with ebay and paypal. The experience cost me almost 1,000 dollars in cards/money/overdraft fees. Paypal came right out and told me I am SOL since the buyer used fraudalnt money to pay for the cards so even though I can show that I shipped it they will NOT do anything it's my loss.

I already told paypal to stick the money I owe them that I would GLADY see them in court for it. So now because I took a stand against them they are looking into other ebay accounts that I have dealt with This could get interesting

Paypal is a great service for webmasters. It is very easy to get set up and start accepting immediate payments from customers. It is much, much easier than getting a credit card merchant account, and all that, that involves.

Paypal has become so widespread that a huge percentage of visitors to your site will have PayPal accounts.

Care is needed when purchasing a service through PayPal. I once paid someone half up front, for some coding work I needed done on a hosting related website. They didn't provide the service and ignored all communications from me.

When I contacted PayPal for a refund they said that as the supplier was selling a service, they could not verify whether or not it was delivered. They refused to make a refund and I was down the money. I was certainly glad that I hadn't made full payment up front.
