What are you doing differently now vs. five years ago? Why? What changes in the marketplace have you seen? What changes do you predict?
If you weren't been in business five years ago, what changes have you noticed as a consumer? |

I think the main difference now over five years ago is I know what I'm doing more, so I don't waste nearly so much time on some areas than I used to, either because I know how to do them quicker or because I've realized they are a waste of time.
A good example of how I used to waste time is with websites that I make - I used to waste a couple of hours a day seeing who is linking to me sites, looking at server stats and all that nonsense and trying all the link back schemes that you get emailed about. I don't do any of that stuff any more and spend the time I have free from it to make my websites better, make more pages and make them more attractive to visitors - all the other stuff I used to worry about takes care of itself if you do this. |
