I've actually got quite a few websites. Unfortunately they are not making serious money. What I'm doing now is focusing on promoting about three of them and concentrating on driving revenue from these three sites. The sites are a directory, a blog that promotes websites and a forum.

My experience has been that forums are the most difficult sites to generate revenue from. Forum members don't seem to click many ads. One aspect of website revenue that disheartens me at times, is the fact that some of my very poor quality websites have good click through rates and earn high revenue per page impressions. It's as if visitors to these sites are more likely to click an ad on the site and leave the site. Visitors to higher quality sites, sites that require a lot more work from me, spend a lot of time on the site and don't click on ads. Anyone else have a similar experience?

Yeah, I have lots of websites too, but I often wonder if I would have been better off concentrating on just two or them and making them mega huge. The only problem is I keep getting new ideas for new websites and I just HAVE to make them!
