I was looking for a 'right hand man' so to speak, specific from the US.

I suppose you could call it an affiliation, but do you know of any affiliation that offers free promotional tools (as in business cards, leflets and posters. Not just eBooks etc), as well as hundreds of $'s worth of shares in the company they are working with?

I'm always suspicious when someone can't explain what they do. In particular, when they can't describe their business that makes me sit up and pay attention real fast.

Some of the characteristics of scammers are:

1. They cloak their activities - they are secretive.
2. They speak in generous terms - numbers are large and seductive.
3. All of their numbers are round numbers - $100,000 not $91,500.
4. They are evasive when they feel someone is 'zeroing in' on them.
5. Scammers scams fall apart usually at the first question. It's rare for a scam to survive the third question. By this I mean an enquiry into what an element of the business is about.
6. Their usual mantra: "Others are making a lot of money - if you invest too so will you".
7. There is little depth to their scam - scammers don't have time for it - they are focussed on getting the money - they'll do the minimum necessary to obtain the money.
8. Conditions are few or none - they are anxious to have an easy induction into the scam.
