Greetings All,
I am new to this forum and was not sure where to place this thread, so I figured this was a safe area. I have been working on starting an Interactive agency with a friend. It was basically my idea from the beginning, as I am the product. I have been in this business for almost 10 years working both in large agencies as well as independent contracting. My friend has a sales/marketing background and was very interested in working as a partner with me. I very much liked the idea because this was a role I needed filled, and this is a trust worthy person who can tackle both aspects of the role. He is registered as a partner, although i am not sure how to handle giving him a percentage of the company, as well as a typical sales commission. Would it be best if this sales position is not commission based since there is a stake in the company? Thank you in advanced |

Commission is the best way to encourage a person. Also is he is doing a great job than why not give him commission.(especially if u dont want to lose a friend)
